Saint-Etienne are interested in Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Bürki, according to Sky Germany.

The French Ligue 1 side are looking for a player to fill in for their number one, Etienne Green, who is sidelined with an elbow injury.

Per the report, Saint-Etienne want to take Bürki on loan, but Dortmund would prefer to sell the 31-year-old to get him off the payroll.

Bürki used to be Dortmund's number one, but has fallen behind Marwin Hitz and first-choice goalkeeper Gregor Kobel in the pecking order at Signal Iduna Park.
