Robert Lewandowski has emerged as a doubt for Bayern München's Bundesliga encounter with Union Berlin on Saturday.

The Polish star striker hasn't been in full training since he picked up a knock on Tuesday, and only did a 30-minute running session today.

Although it's not thought to be a serious issue, Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann will think carefully about risking Lewandowski against Union, especially because Lewandowski is experiencing discomfort in the same knee that was injured last year.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Lewandowski's usual back-up, was also not in team training today. Should they both miss out, Serge Gnabry could play as a striker against Union.

Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann is expected to provide an injury update at a press conference tomorrow.
