Akanji yet to decide future, claim representatives
Borussia Dortmund centre-back Manuel Akanji is yet to make a decision on his future, according to the player's agency.
It's been reported that Manuel Akanji is likely to leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season, with German media claiming that the defender has rejected two contract offers from his club.
However, speaking to Blick, Akanji's representatives insist that the Swiss international remains in talks with the club about the possibility of extending his contract beyond 2023.
"He currently wants to concentrate solely on the important last games of the season. If there is something official to report, that will follow from the club side," said the representatives.
"We are in exchange with BVB."
Akanji has been linked with a move to the English Premier League.
