Becker leaves Union future open

Union Berlin striker Sheraldo Becker has addressed speculation about his future.

Sheraldo Becker has admitted he doesn't know what his future holds beyond the end of the season.

The Union attacker doesn't necessarily want to leave the club, as he feels comfortable in the German capital.

"I don't know what the summer will bring. I can only say that I feel very comfortable here. It's not just about the money for me," he told Bild.

"I am happy. My son has been going to school here for two years."

Union received several enquiries for Becker in January, but the 28-year-old ultimately remained in Berlin.

"Clubs approached me in the winter. But I said: 'I'm staying. And then I stay. That's the way I am."

Becker's contract with Union runs until the summer of 2025. In the current season, he has been directly involved in 15 goals (eight goals, seven assists) in 33 appearances.
