Leverkusen working on Xhaka signing, multiple reports claim

Bayer Leverkusen are being linked with a move for Arsenal's Granit Xhaka.

Former Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka could be on his way back to Germany.

According to the Daily Mirror and Sky Germany, Bayer Leverkusen are looking into the possibility of signing the 30-year-old Arsenal midfielder.

Xhaka, who has a contract with Arsenal until 2024 with an option to extend for another season, would cost a double-digit million fee.

The Switzerland international has scored seven goals and provided seven assists in 44 appearances for Arsenal this season.
