Trio reportedly set for Germany recalls

According to reports, Aleksandar Pavlović, Serge Gnabry, and Niclas Füllkrug are all in line to return to the Germany squad for the June fixtures.

Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann is expected to recall several players for the UEFA Nations League Final Four tournament in June.

According to Sky Germany, Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic is set to return to the squad after recovering from tonsillitis and regaining full fitness.

His Bayern teammate Serge Gnabry is also expected to be included, Bild reports. The 29-year-old winger was left out of the squad for Germany’s quarter-final win over Italy due to form, but a convincing end to the Bundesliga season appears to have earned him a recall.

Bild further claims that Niclas Füllkrug looks in line for a return as well. The 32-year-old striker has had an injury-hit season with West Ham United, but could benefit from the absence of the injured Tim Kleindienst and Kai Havertz, who only just returned from a long spell on the sidelines.

Reports have also claimed that Borussia Dortmund's Waldemar Anton and VfB Stuttgart's Nick Woltemade will be in the squad, which will be announced on Thursday.
