Zetterer linked with West Ham move

West Ham are showing interest in Werder Bremen goalkeeper Michael Zetterer, according to Sport Bild.

Michael Zetterer’s future as Werder Bremen’s first-choice goalkeeper is uncertain, with youngster Mio Backhaus pushing to claim the starting spot.

Whether Zetterer remains at Werder is up in the air, as the 29-year-old is on the radar of several clubs, including West Ham, according to Sport Bild.

FC Copenhagen were previously linked with a move for the Werder shot-stopper, but ultimately chose to sign Dominik Kotarski from PAOK FC instead.

Zetterer, who has been Werder’s first-choice goalkeeper for the past two seasons, is under contract with the Green-Whites until 2027.
