Eberl outlines Bayern are "In the process of developing something"
Eberl has continued to make it absolutely clear that the club is happy with the development of the club under the guidance of the ex-Belgium international.
“We have a new coach, new staff. They have rebuilt a lot,” said the 51-year-old.
“We play football differently, and four months later, to stand here as table toppers is not so bad.”
Despite Bayern currently sitting at the top of the Bundesliga, the on-pitch standards have been below high expectations in the Champions League after two losses on the bounce away at Aston Villa and Barcelona, sparking the critique that comes as simply part of the job at the helm of Bayern München.
Eberl was quick to emphasise that, despite possible setbacks, the club won't be overly anxious.
“We are currently in the process of developing something. No development in the world, no era, began with a snap of the fingers. I believe that on every path, there are setbacks.”
“One must accept them and learn from them.”
“Now you can make mistakes. After that, when it is crunch time, we can't make those mistakes anymore.”
