Germany sporting director Rudi Völler has confirmed that Hansi Flick will remain in charge ahead of next year's European Championship, despite the team's recent struggles in friendlies.

Flick has been heavily criticized following a 3-3 draw with Ukraine and a 1-0 loss to Poland this month.

However, Völler insisted at a press conference today that Flick's job is in no danger.

"Of course Hansi Flick will remain coach," Völler told reporters.

"There's no question about that. He's an absolute top coach and thinks every day about how we can play a good tournament next year."

Germany face Colombia on Tuesday in their third and final friendly of the month.
