Reports: Union's Leweling set for Stuttgart loan-out
Sky Germany is now confirming a report originating in Kicker Magazine yesterday regarding a loan-out of 1. FC Union Berlin striker Jamie Leweling to VfB Stuttgart.

Leweling joined Union last summer from the relegated SpVgg Greuther Fürth last summer on a reported €4 million deal. The Nürnberg native found himself without much playing prospects in Köpenick. He made 25 appearances for Urs Fischer's Eisernen (one goal) across all competitions, but did not crack the starting XI once.
Union have already brought in two new strikers (David Fofana and Mikkel Kaufmann) ahead of next season, meaning that the 22-year-old has even less of a chance of earning playing time this year. A loan-out for Lowering (still under contract through 2026) thus makes perfect sense. Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg reports that a purchase option will be part of the deal.
