    Robert Lewandowski, Bayern München:
"When I score, it's always for my family. I'm super satisfied. We had the game under control, and now we're cup winners. We stuck together to win the double. It has been a difficult season at times, but in the end, we can say that it was great."

    Niko Kovac, Bayern München coach:
"It was a very strong opponent today and the hardest one we could meet here, but we deserved to win. We were a bit better today. But you also have to compliment Leipzig who will give us competition for the championship along with Borussia Dortmund in the coming years. We had to take them seriously, and that's what we did tonight."

    Manuel Neuer, Bayern München captain:
"I was highly motivated and prepared in training. It wouldn't have been possible to write a better script. We will celebrate today and pay homage to Robben, Ribery and Rafinha - they have a huge share in our success."

    Yussuf Poulsen, RB Leipzig:
"This is a bitter day. We did really well at times, but didn't take advantage of our chances and lacked a bit of luck. Then you lose against Bayern who deservedly won. We should have taken the lead in the first half hour, and then we conceded and needed a little time to recover, of course. After the break, we did quite well again, but then we conceded again."

    Peter Gulacsi, RB Leipzig:
"At the end of the day, Bayern deserved to win. But we still had our chances. We are disappointed at the moment. It's difficult to cope with. It was a great day for our club RB Leipig, but unfortunately it didn't work out in the end."

    Oliver Mintzlaff, RB Leipzig CEO:
"The season was good on paper, but right now the disappointment outweighs everything else, because we wanted to get more today. But in a few days, we will certainly be able to look back on this great season with good feelings."
