Bayer Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz has revealed that Kevin Volland is back in team training following a long spell on the sidelines.

But the 27-year-old will not be an option for Saturday's Bundesliga game against Gladbach as he still needs some time to work his way back to full fitness.

"Kevin Volland has been back in team training since this week, but tomorrow's game comes too early for him. We'll have to wait and see when he can be back," Bosz said at the pre-match press conference.

Lars Bender, who is still sidelined with a foot injury, is Leverkusen's only other absentee for the upcoming game at Borussia-Park.
