Vincent Kompany’s side look to extend their electrifying start to the campaign with Bayer Leverkusen the next to try their luck of getting a result against the Rekordmeister. While Bayern won each of their first 14 matches in all competitions this season, Kasper Hjulmand is victorious in all but one Bundesliga game since replacing Erik ten Hag.

Jonathan Tah will face the club he left as a free agent in the summer. Meanwhile, Manuel Neuer and Leon Goretzka return to the starting XI. Surprisingly, Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Diaz are all on the bench.

As for the visitors, Claudio Echeverri gets a rare start despite news coming out that Manchester City want him back before the end of the season. Patrick Schick also starts, while there is another surprise at the back with the inclusion of Jeanuel Belocian. Alejandro Grimaldo starts on the bench.

Here are the two lineups for the key fixture in the Bundesliga title race.
