Over the summer, Luis Diaz joined Bayern Munich from Liverpool in a €70 million deal.

In an interview with the club's '51' magazine, the Colombian international discussed a wide range of topics, including his first memories of FC Bayern.

Wing wizards Arjen Robben and Franck Ribéry together known as 'Robbery' made a lasting impression on him, as did Bayern's 2–1 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final 12 years ago.

“I’ve always watched a lot of football. When I’m at home, I watch everything. My first memories of FC Bayern are of (Arjen) Robben and (Franck) Ribéry,” Diaz said.

“And then there was a player called Schweinsteiger or something, right? I remember the 2013 Champions League final, when Bayern beat Dortmund, very well. That left an impression on me."

The 28-year-old striker has hit the ground running at Bayern, racking up three goals and two assists in his first four games.
