Urs Fischer says the referee told him he was "too aggressive" after he was sent off following Union's cup defeat to Stuttgart.

"Because I was supposedly too cheeky, too aggressive. The referee told me that," Fischer told Sky Deutschland.
"I spoke to him in the dressing room and apologized, but then I asked myself: 'What are you allowed to do now?' Allegedly I was too aggressive, but without insulting him.
Stegemann confirmed:
"I want to emphasize that Urs Fischer didn't insult me.
"He apologized to me and I accepted his apology. So there are no hard feelings."
Pressure is mounting on Urs Fischer, who has lost his last 11 competitive matches with Union Berlin.
