Robin Koch linked with move to Tottenham

Freiburg's Robin Koch is understood to be the subject of interest from Tottenham.
Tottenham are keeping tabs on Robin Koch from SC Freiburg, according to a report from Bild.

Koch has openly said he feels ready to take the next step in his career and is said to have informed the club that he will not be extending his contract, which expires in 2021.

According to Bild, Tottenham have lined up the versatile German international as a possible replacement for Juan Foyth, who has been heavily linked with a move to Inter. Aparently, the English Premier League side first showed interest in Koch a year ago.

After turning down a €15 million bid from RB Leipzig for Koch in January, Freiburg are expected to cash in on the 23-year-old this summer in order to avoid losing him for free next year.

Capable of playing as a centre-back and in defensive midfield, Koch has made a total of 86 appearances for Freiburg with five goals and two assists to his name.
