At this stage, it’s an open secret that VfB Stuttgart are working on signing 22-year-old attacking midfielder Giannis Konstantelias from PAOK and 22-year-old central midfielder Caspar Jander from 1. FC Nürnberg.

Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth has openly confirmed the club’s interest in both players, but emphasized that it’s still unclear whether either of them will arrive, with negotiations ongoing with their respective clubs.

According to Kicker, Stuttgart are offering €8 million for Jander, while Nürnberg are demanding at least €13 million.

With Konstantelias, Stuttgart’s current offer is €14 million, but PAOK are holding out for at least €20 million.

“We’re looking at both players and, by the way, many others in parallel,” Wohlgemuth told kicker.

“Both Jander and Konstantelias are options who could strengthen VfB. We’ve had good experiences with players from Nürnberg in the past, and Giannis is setting the standard with his performances in the Greek league.

“Where things will lead with either player is still completely open."
