Jonathan Tah's unfortunate miss in Germany's penalty shootout elimination to Paraguay has not dented the player's confidence.
“To be honest, I felt good," the central defender told Sport1, reflecting on his thoughts before firing the match-defining spot-kick over the bar.
"I wasn’t extremely nervous, which is what I actually thought I would be, but I didn’t hit it well. I would take one again next time.
"I think it's important to take responsibility in difficult moments. That was something I specifically resolved to do for this tournament.
“I wanted to take responsibility – and that's why I did it [took the sixth penalty] in that moment,” the Bayern Munich concluded.
