Almost three and a half months since suffering a fractured fibula, Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala is well on the way to completing his recovery.

“I think you learn a lot of things when you're injured. For example, I see how much fun I usually have and how much I love football,” he told FCBayern.com about his recovery.

"You have time to calmly see what you can do better. On the pitch, you don't have that time to think about everything. And of course I want to come back even better.

“I've been with my family almost all the time since my injury. They've helped me a lot - also to switch off from everything a little bit,” the 22-year-old added.

Regarding his teammates and coach Vincent Kompany's start to the season, Musiala has been very impressed. Their ten wins in as many competitive games speaks for itself.

“You can see how well we're playing at the moment, how much fun they're all having. I want to be part of that and be back on the pitch - also with Phonzy [Davies].

“We want to have fun after our injuries and make sure we win a lot as a team,” Musiala said. The German star is raring to go albeit the Dortmund game comes just too soon for him.
