Halstenberg released from Leipzig training amid Hannover links
Marcel Halstenberg's reported move to Hannover 96 appears to be nearing completion, with RB Leipzig confirming that the defender is absent from training because of ongoing negotiations with another club.

"Marcel Halstenberg has been given permission to speak to another club and will therefore not train today," a statement from RB Leipzig read.
According to multiple reports, the club in question is Hannover 96, where the 31-year-old defender began his career.
Halstenberg has played for Leipzig since 2015, playing 240 games with 16 goals and 27 assists to his name.
