Reports: Tin Jedvaj's transfer to Lokomotiv Moscow nears completion

In response to an inquiry from Sport Bild, Bayer 04 Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes confirmed that Tin Jedvaj's absence from Werkself training camp was directly related to his imminent transfer to Lokomotiv Moscow.

A Russian news source cites an employee of the Croatian center back's consulting agency to claim that the 25-year-old has agreed to terms with the Russian club.

The rumored transfer of Leverkusen's Tin Jedvaj to the Russian Premiership is evidently in its final stages. Russian footballing news portal "meta-ratings" quotes an employee of Jedvaj's representation firm to verify that the Croatian international and the RPL club have agreed to terms.

"The fact that Tin Jedvaj has reached an agreement with Lokomotiv Moscow is true," the website quotes a staff member of Venture Partner as saying, "negotiations on the transfer are now underway between the two clubs."

B04 sporting director Simon Rolfes, responding to an inquiry from Germany's main sporting tabloid concerning Jedvaj's absence from camp, noted that "Tin is clarifying the situation."

Transfermarkt's German website speculates that Germany's red company team stands to pocket a transfer fee in the range of €5-6 million.
