Bayern's Olise could tie remarkable assist record against Eintracht Frankfurt

Michael Olise is enjoying another sensational season for Bayern Munich, having already scored 10 goals and provided 18 assists in just 21 Bundesliga games through the 2025/26 campaign.
Remarkably, the Frenchman has registered at least one assist in six consecutive matches, putting him on the brink of tying a Bundesliga record ahead of Bayern Munich's game against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.
Only two players – former Bayern stars Douglas Costa and Thomas Müller – have ever managed to record an assist in seven consecutive games.
Who holds the record for the most assists in the Bundesliga?
Regardless of whether he ties the record, Olise is firmly on course to break the record for most Bundesliga assists in a single season.
He needs just four more assists to surpass Thomas Müller’s 21-assist mark from the 2019/20 campaign.
Müller also holds the record for most assists overall in Bundesliga history with 178.
Olise still has a long way to go to reach that milestone, having set up 36 goals in the German top-flight so far.
